The SMISS 2008 Annual Meeting with be held at the beautiful Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas. An intensive two-day course will demonstrate the latest operative techniques in a hands-on, cadaver-based curriculum which will introduce both the beginning and experienced spine surgeon to the best of minimally invasive spine (MIS) surgery.

The scientific session on Friday November 14, 2008 will feature presentations on the latest minimally invasive techniques by leaders in the field. Insights into the tips and pearls of each technique will be explained along with key indications. Abstracts accepted for scientific presentation will be given in both oral and poster formats to highlight the latest research in MIS surgery. A highly interaction program is planned with ample opportunity for participant discussion, case discussion, and debate. We hope that you can join us for this unique program and help support the Society in its efforts to facilitate the responsible and scientific application of MIS surgery.
